  Philip Marshall was appointed to serve as a Judge in the Los Angeles County Superior Court by Governor Gavin Newsom in August 2023. Prior to his appointment, he served at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office from 1999 to 2023, holding several roles including Deputy-in-Charge. He also served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Tulare County District Attorney's Office from 1997 to 1999. Marshall earned his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School.
