  Lori R. Behar is an incumbent judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. She was first appointed to the bench as a commissioner in 2006 and then appointed as a judge by Governor Jerry Brown in 2012. Prior to her judicial career, she was a partner at the law firm Haight, Brown & Bonesteel LLP, where she had worked since being a law clerk. She became the firm's first female partner. Behar earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her J.D. from Loyola Law School.
