- Gary Blenner — High School Teacher in Sacramento County, California
Gary Blenner was born in Queens, New York, and moved to Fremont, California, at age 13. He earned a bachelor's degree with a double major in political science and history from the University of California, Davis in 1988, and a graduate degree from National University in 2006. His professional career has been as a high school social science teacher for over 28 years. Blenner served as a school board trustee for the Center Joint Unified School District from 2006 to 2010. He has previously run for the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 2012 and 2016, and for California Secretary of State in 2022, where he was defeated in the primary. He is the co-coordinator of the Sacramento County Green Party.
- Michael Feinstein — Former Mayor and City Councilmember of Santa Monica in Santa Monica, California
Michael Feinstein is a co-founder of the Green Party of California and a former two-term member of the Santa Monica City Council (1996-2004), where he also served as Mayor (2000-2002). Born in Athens, Greece, he was adopted by American parents. He graduated from Carleton College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Feinstein has a long history of political activism, beginning in 1988. He has held numerous positions within the Green Party at local, state, and national levels, including co-chair of the Green Party of the United States. He previously ran for Secretary of State in 2018. He has also served on various governmental committees, including for the Southern California Association of Governments.
- Shirley N. Weber — Incumbent Secretary of State in San Diego, CA
Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D. is the California Secretary of State, appointed in 2020 and elected to a full term in 2022. She is the first Black Secretary of State in California's history. Prior to her appointment, Weber served four terms representing California's 79th Assembly District, where she chaired the Elections and Redistricting Committee. A former professor at San Diego State University for 40 years, she holds a BA, MA, and PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles.
- Donald P. (don) Wagner — Orange County Supervisor in Irvine, CA
Donald P. Wagner is a Republican politician currently serving on the Orange County Board of Supervisors for District 3, a position he has held since 2019. He previously served as the Mayor of Irvine from 2016 to 2019 and represented the 68th District in the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2016. Wagner earned a bachelor's degree from UCLA and a J.D. from the UC Hastings College of the Law. He is running as a candidate for California Secretary of State in the 2026 election.
