  James N. Bianco is an incumbent judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, a position he has held since his appointment in 2008. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2027. Before becoming a judge, he served as a Court Commissioner for the same court from 2005 to 2008. His legal career, spanning over 28 years, includes roles as a sole practitioner, a partner at Bahan & Bianco, a criminal prosecutor as a Deputy City Attorney for Santa Monica, and a civil litigator with the firm Weissburg & Aronson. For five years, Judge Bianco was the Site Judge of the Mental Health Courthouse.
