  Alexander P. Sario was appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court by Governor Gavin Newsom in November 2024. Prior to his appointment, he served as a Deputy Alternate Public Defender at the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender's Office from 2008 to 2024, where his practice included handling serious felonies and homicides. He was previously a Deputy Public Defender at the Riverside County Public Defender's Office from 2007 to 2008 and an associate at Palmer, Lombardi & Donohue LLP from 2006 to 2007. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego.
