Manny Lin ran for election to the Hesperia Unified School District school board to represent Trustee Area 4 in California. Lin was on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024.
- Steve Fox — Attorney in Lancaster, California
Steve Fox is an attorney and a former member of the California State Assembly, representing the 36th district from 2012 to 2014. Before his election to the Assembly, he worked as a public school teacher, an attorney, and a trustee of Antelope Valley College. He was also a governing board member of the Antelope Valley Hospital. Fox initially ran for Assembly in 2008 as a Republican but later switched to the Democratic Party. He won his Assembly seat in 2012 by a narrow margin of 145 votes, becoming the first Democrat to be elected to the legislature in that area in 36 years. He lost his re-election bid in 2014 and subsequent campaigns in 2016, 2018, and 2020. He also ran unsuccessfully for the 39th Assembly District in 2022. He has been a licensed attorney in California since 1994.

Charles Hughes is a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired law enforcement lieutenant with 26 years of service, and a small business owner. He served in the Navy as a Damage Controlman, reaching the rank of Second-Class Petty Officer. After his military service, he worked for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Antelope Valley College and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Chapman University. In 2022, he was elected to the Antelope Valley Union High School District Board of Trustees, where he has also served as President. He is a husband, father of five, and grandfather of eight.

Randall Putz is a Democratic candidate for California State Assembly District 34. He currently serves as the Mayor of Big Bear Lake, having been on the City Council since 2014. Putz previously served on the Bear Valley Unified School District Board. A small business owner with over 25 years of experience in marketing and technology consulting, he also co-founded the Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation and the Bear Valley Education Trust, advocating for local conservation and education initiatives.
