- Deborah Klein Lopez — Mayor Pro Tem, City of Agoura Hills in Agoura Hills, California
Deborah Klein Lopez serves on the Agoura Hills City Council, having been re-elected in November 2022, and previously served as Mayor. She graduated with honors from Northwestern University with a dual degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics. Her career began in financial analysis and project management before she transitioned to public service, working in the California State Senate and Assembly. Lopez has also served as a Director of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains and is the Board Chair for Clean Power Alliance, a renewable energy provider. She grew up in Agoura Hills and returned to raise her family in the area.

Kelly Honig is an attorney and educator currently serving as the Mayor and a City Councilmember for Westlake Village, where she has lived for over two decades. She was first elected to the City Council in 2015 and is now in her third term. Honig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She practiced law for 13 years before teaching Business Law and Criminal Law at Oxnard College. She has also served as a Development Director for a school in Thousand Oaks and has been involved in various community organizations, including the Rotary Club of Westlake Village and Art Trek, Inc.

Ted Nordblum is a small business owner and Republican candidate for California State Assembly District 42. A longtime resident of the Conejo Valley, he has owned and operated a medical device business in Thousand Oaks for over 18 years. Nordblum's campaign platform focuses on restoring economic affordability, cutting the gas tax, defending Proposition 13, supporting law enforcement, and addressing the homelessness crisis. He previously ran for the same Assembly seat in 2022 and 2024.

Rocky Rhodes is a Simi Valley City Councilmember, business owner, and international coffee consultant. He earned a bachelor's degree from Seattle University before moving to California in 1991. In 1996, he and his wife started a coffee business, leading to his career in global coffee supply chain consulting. Rhodes was elected to the Simi Valley City Council in 2022 and served as Mayor Pro Tem in 2023. He is running as a Republican candidate for California State Assembly District 42.
