Elizabeth Wong Ahlers is a sixth-generation Californian, mother of six, and a councilwoman for the Crescenta Valley Town Council. She holds a bachelor's degree and a Master's Degree in Teaching English from UCLA, as well as a Doctorate in Applied Theology. Her professional experience includes teaching English at UCLA, Glendale Community College, and Los Angeles Valley College. Ahlers has also been involved in real estate investment, residential elder care, and has performed humanitarian work in Asia, India, and South America. She has served on various international boards and committees focused on humanitarian and educational work.

Pilar Schiavo was elected to the California State Assembly in 2022. Before serving in the Assembly, she was a nurse advocate and small business owner with over 20 years of experience in the labor movement. A significant portion of her career was with the California Nurses Association. She earned a bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University in 1997 and a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2001. Schiavo co-founded an organization that has provided over 50,000 meals, helped secure housing for veterans and seniors, and worked to increase community safety resources. She lives in Chatsworth with her daughter.
