John Harabedian is the incumbent Assemblymember for California's 41st District, having assumed office in December 2024. He was born and raised in Sierra Madre, California. His career in public service began on the Sierra Madre City Council in 2012, where he was re-elected in 2016 and served two terms as mayor. Professionally, Harabedian has an extensive legal background, having worked as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, an attorney at Latham & Watkins, and with Stanford's Immigrants' Rights Clinic.
