  Tina McKinnor is the incumbent for the 61st Assembly District, first elected in June 2022. Her career includes roles as an auditor for the Los Angeles County Office of Education, a political treasurer for the Kaufman Legal Group, chief of staff for several State Assembly members, and director of operations for the California Democratic Party. She also served as the civic engagement director for the non-profit LAVoice. McKinnor earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and an Associate's Degree in business administration and accounting from Los Angeles Southwest College. She is a mother of two adult sons.
