- Paul Irving Jones — Retired Computer Instructor, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran in Lakewood, California
Paul Jones is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served for 23 months in combat in Vietnam and is a rated disabled veteran. A California resident since 1973, he worked as a studio driver for Local 399 and later became a certified computer instructor for LAUSD for 11 years. He also worked as a contract computer instructor for the City of Carson, focusing on senior citizens' computer education. In 2022, he ran unsuccessfully for Congress in California's 44th Congressional District. He also ran for the State Assembly District 62 seat in 2024 and lost in the general election.
- José Luis Solache — Member of the California State Assembly, 62nd District in Lynwood, California
José Luis Solache was elected to the California State Assembly in November 2024. He was born in Bellflower, California, and grew up in Lynwood. Solache earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he served two terms as Student Body President and as the statewide Chair of the California State Student Association. He is also pursuing a master's degree at the University of Southern California. Prior to his election to the Assembly, Solache served on the Lynwood City Council starting in 2013, including terms as Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem. He also completed three terms on the Lynwood Unified School District's Board of Education, to which he was first elected at the age of 23.
