  Blanca Pacheco is the incumbent representing the 64th District in the California State Assembly, an office she assumed on December 5, 2022. A graduate of Downey High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School. Her career includes working as an attorney and real estate broker. Prior to her election to the Assembly, Pacheco served on the Downey City Council, first elected in 2016, and became the city's first Latina Mayor in 2020.

  Raul Ortiz Jr. was born in Downey, California, and grew up in Norwalk, now residing in La Mirada. He earned a bachelor's degree in Theology from Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College in 1994. His career includes over 41 years as a minister and experience in the pest management industry, where he has been a business leader. He has served as a Youth Pastor, Principal, and coach for high school sports. He is a husband and father of eight children.
