State Senator, 22nd District in State Senate District 22, California
2026 Primary Election
- R.R. Jimenez — Candidate, CA. State Senate, 22nd District in West Covina, California
I'm a father, a husband, a brother, a friend, a neighbor, a Marine Corps veteran, a concern citizen, a Christian, etc. I grew up throughout SGV and Boyle Heights. I overcame being a high school dropout to become college educated after going to war. Thereafter, I've held many civic positions in the community and coached youth football along with coaching my son in MMA. I've visited many other states and countries. I've talked to many people from the streets to the halls of academia and legislation. I've overcome many bad decisions in life and relationships and their consequences to have an understanding of pitfalls, gaining wisdom in how to avoid and overcome adversity. I understand our current state of affairs in California needs to change.
