  Kyle Beauchamp, a 31-year-old Democratic candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives District 82, is a Wichita native, science teacher, father, truck driver, union member, and church volunteer. He resides in Derby with his wife, Kendra, and child. Beauchamp earned a bachelor's degree from Emporia State University in 2015 and currently teaches science at Derby Middle School. He is running to champion the rights and well-being of all Kansans, focusing on the working class, democracy, and environmental protection. His platform includes advocating for property tax relief through zoning reform, upholding free and fair elections, eliminating partisan gerrymandering, and protecting residents from federal immigration enforcement activities.
