  Dan Osman, a Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives for District 48 since July 2021, is seeking re-election in the August 2026 primary. Born in Overland Park, Kansas, he holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Kansas School of Law, where he earned his JD. An attorney, Osman previously served as a prosecutor in Jackson County, Missouri, and on the Hickman Mills Board of Education. He is currently the House Democratic Policy Chair.
