  Belinda K. Conaway, a lifelong Baltimore resident and Democrat, is the 16th Register of Wills for Baltimore City, first elected in 2014. A product of Baltimore City public schools, she holds degrees from Bowie State University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before her current role, she was a dedicated educator and guidance counselor in the city's school system. Conaway previously served on the Baltimore City Council, representing the 7th District from 2004 to 2011. During her time on the council, she chaired the Budget and Appropriations Committee. She comes from a family deeply involved in Baltimore politics.

Before launching his current campaign, Zipay ran for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 45 in 2018 and the Baltimore City Council in District 2 in 2024 as a Republican.
