  Will Milam is a Democratic candidate for Montgomery County Sheriff. A longtime resident of the county, he brings 22 years of law enforcement experience to his candidacy. Milam retired as the Chief Assistant Sheriff for Prince George's County, serving as the second-in-command for that agency. In this senior management role, he was part of a leadership team responsible for overseeing nearly 400 sworn deputies and civilian staff members. His previous command positions include Assistant Sheriff for the Bureau of Administration. Milam holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland Global Campus and is also a graduate of the Police Union Leadership Program at Harvard Law School.
