  Shayla D. Adams-Stafford is a Democratic politician serving on the Prince George's County Council in Maryland. Elected in a June 2025 special election, she represents Councilmanic District 5. Before joining the council, Adams-Stafford was elected to the Prince George's County Board of Education in 2020. A former teacher and instructional coach, she earned a B.A. from Wellesley College and an M.A. from Duke University.
