  Juan Arango-Millan is a Brentwood Town Councilmember, former educator, and workforce development professional running for the District 3 seat on the Prince George’s County Board of Education. Having navigated housing instability and the foster care system while helping raise his younger siblings, Juan experienced firsthand how public schools and dedicated teachers serve as essential lifelines for vulnerable families. A proud alumnus of Salisbury University, he has dedicated his career to public service, working directly with youth in detention centers, supporting families overcoming domestic violence, and helping residents build sustainable livelihoods. Today, he combines his classroom experience with his municipal governance background to fight for fully funded schools, modern facilities, expanded career and technical education, and culturally competent support systems that give every student and family a real chance to succeed.

• Jamie McGonnigal — Board of Education in Board of Education District 3, Maryland

  Jamie McGonnigal is a nonpartisan candidate running for the Prince George's County Board of Education to represent District 3 in Maryland. A dedicated community advocate and father, he serves as the PTA President at Hyattsville Elementary School, where he organizes family-focused events. Professionally, McGonnigal is a trainer at KNP Communications and director of partnerships for Neighborhood Economics. He is also a voice actor and has a background in Broadway production. Throughout his career, McGonnigal has been an active nonprofit leader, working extensively with HIV/AIDS charities, including the United Nations' HERO campaign.
