  Darren M. Badillo is a nonpartisan candidate for the Baltimore County Board of Education, District 6, in Maryland. As a parent in the public school system, Badillo actively participates in community meetings and superintendent listening sessions. He has consistently advocated for allocating more financial resources directly to students rather than central office staff. He will appear on the June 23, 2026, primary ballot against incumbent Christina Pumphrey. Previously, Badillo sought public office during the 2022 election cycle, running as a Republican candidate in the primary for Baltimore County Executive.

  Christina Pumphrey is a nonpartisan candidate for the Baltimore County Board of Education, representing District 6 in Maryland. Elected in 2022, she served as the Board's Vice Chair from 2023 to 2024. A resident for over 25 years, Pumphrey has spent two decades as a local education advocate. She previously served as an area vice president for the PTA Council of Baltimore County and held leadership roles on PTA executive boards. Pumphrey graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and attended UMBC and the University of Baltimore. Professionally, she works as a litigation paralegal and has four children with her husband.
