  N. Eugene "Gene" Malone Jr. is a non-partisan candidate for the Wicomico County Board of Education, representing District 2 in Maryland. Appointed to the board by Governor Larry Hogan in 2016, Malone was subsequently elected to full terms in 2018 and 2022. He has provided extensive leadership to the board, serving multiple years as its Chairman. Professionally, Malone built a nearly 40-year career in commercial banking, retiring from M&T Bank before joining First Shore Federal as Vice President of Commercial Lending. An alumnus of Salisbury University, Malone actively supports youth athletics and Habitat for Humanity.
