Kenneth E. Thalheimer is a Republican candidate for State's Attorney in Dorchester County, Maryland. A resident of the county for 13 years, he is a veteran of the Marine Corps and previously served as an Anne Arundel County police officer. He has been involved in the community by coaching youth sports and serving as a stadium announcer. Thalheimer ran for the same office in the 2022 Republican primary. More recently, the Republican Central Committee nominated him as their prospective candidate for the 2026 election, although his name will not be on the primary ballot due to a late filing.
