His extensive legal career includes serving as an Assistant State's Attorney for Baltimore City from 1988 to 2002. He first joined the bench as an Associate Judge for the Maryland District Court in 2002 before being appointed to the Third Circuit Court in 2010. He is running in a nonpartisan judicial election.
