Tracy Gant is the Mayor of the Town of Edmonston, a position she has held since 2014. Her career in public service began in 1992 with her appointment to the Edmonston Town Council, where she was the first African American to serve. She was subsequently elected to the council in 1994 and served as Vice Mayor in 2013 before her mayoral election. Gant has also been involved with the Maryland Municipal League, holding leadership roles such as Communications Committee Chairman and Convention Planning Committee Chairman. A United States Army veteran, she served for seven years and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. Professionally, she is a Property Manager. Gant is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, District 22.

Craig Hayes is a candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 22. A progressive Democrat, he has nearly two decades of experience as a grassroots organizer and political campaign advisor. Born in Germany to an Irish immigrant and a U.S. Air Force service member, Hayes was partly raised by his grandparents in Washington County, Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. His policy interests include electoral reforms such as proportional ranked-choice voting and the public financing of campaigns. He is also an advocate for Maryland's immigrant communities. Hayes resides in Hyattsville with his partner.

Ashanti Martinez is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates for Legislative District 22 in Prince George's County. He was appointed to the position by Governor Wes Moore in February 2023. Martinez holds the distinction of being the first openly gay individual to represent Prince George's County in the Maryland General Assembly and is also the first Latino to represent District 22. He is a graduate of Parkdale High School and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Howard University. His public service career includes working as a research and policy analyst for CASA de Maryland, serving as director of constituent services for a county councilmember, and interning for U.S. Representatives Elijah Cummings and Steny Hoyer.

A third-generation resident of Prince George's County, she grew up in Hyattsville, where she currently resides with her husband and three children. Her children attend Prince George's County Public Schools. McKee-Seabrook is a first-generation college graduate, having earned her degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland. Her professional career includes over 14 years of experience in Maryland state policy. She has served as the associate director for government relations at the University of Maryland and as chief of staff to a state senator. Her platform focuses on issues facing working families.
