Eric Ebersole is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 44A in Baltimore County. He assumed office in 2015, originally for District 12 before redistricting. Born in Baltimore, Ebersole had a 35-year career as a high school mathematics teacher in Howard County before entering politics. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics education from the University of Maryland, College Park. In the legislature, he has served on the Ways and Means Committee, where he acts as Chair of the Education Subcommittee. Ebersole has also contributed to commissions reviewing public school assessments and the implementation of universal prekindergarten.

Chikongola "Chuck" Linton, a resident of Baltimore County, is a Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 44A. He has officially filed to compete in the Republican primary scheduled for June 23, 2026. His campaign committee is registered under the name "Friends of Chikongola Linton for Delegate." A military veteran, Linton is an active member of the local veteran community. He currently serves as the Adjutant for Chapter 1 of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Maryland. In this capacity, he advocates for and supports fellow veterans. Demonstrating his commitment, he represented the DAV in the 2017 presidential inaugural parade. Linton has also been a visible supporter of other Republican campaigns in the Baltimore area.
