  Guy Guzzone, born in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 27, 1964, is a Democratic politician representing Maryland's Legislative District 13 in the State Senate. He has held this office since 2015. Guzzone is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics and government & politics, as well as a Master of Public Administration. His career in public service began on the Howard County Council, where he served from 1998 to 2006. Following his tenure on the council, he was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates for District 13, serving from 2007 to 2015. In the Senate, he also served as Majority Leader from 2019 to 2020.
