Diane M. Scarangella is an incumbent Councilmember for the Borough of Leonia in Bergen County, New Jersey. A Democrat, she successfully secured a three-year term on the Leonia Council in the 2023 general elections, receiving the highest number of votes among candidates. As a Councilmember, she participates in Council committee appointments and has actively addressed community concerns, advocating for the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Racism and Equity to be brought back to the community. Scarangella has publicly expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to serve the Borough of Leonia.

Jordan D. Zeigler currently serves as the Council President for the Borough of Leonia, New Jersey, a position he won as a Democrat in 2023. His term on the Council extends through 2026. In his capacity as Council President, he collaborates with the Mayor and the Public Health Nurse to organize and execute COVID-19 vaccination clinics for New Jersey residents within Leonia. Beyond his elected duties, Zeigler also contributes to his community as a volunteer coach for AYSO United in Bergen County, assisting young goalkeepers, and as a volunteer lector at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. He also works as an Analyst Trainee for the Bergen County Superintendent of Elections/Commissioner of Registration.
