2026 Primary Election

• Kerry J. Coley — Incumbent East Ward Councilmember in Orange, New Jersey

  Kerry J. Coley is the incumbent council member for the East Ward of the City of Orange Township, with his current term set to expire on June 30, 2026. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and also served with the Orange Police Department for 20 years before entering politics. He was first elected to the city council in 2014 and also ran for mayor of Orange in 2016.

• Antoinett Hall — Educational Support Professional in Orange, New Jersey

  Antoinett Hall works as a one-on-one aide for students with special needs at Park Avenue Elementary School and was named the 2023 Essex County Educational Support Professional of the Year. She holds bachelor's degrees in science and psychology from Bloomfield College and has also trained as a nurse. Hall is actively involved in her community, serving as the Democratic Committee Chair, a member of the City of Orange Budget Committee, and on the Zoning Board of Adjustments. She has organized numerous community events, including a Black Lives Matter project and providing meals for hospital staff during the pandemic.
