  Neil Hays is a Republican who represents Oklahoma's 13th District in the House of Representatives, having assumed office in November 2022. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he holds an MBA from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. Prior to his political career, Hays worked as a high school teacher and coach before owning a highly-rated Farmers Insurance agency in Okmulgee. He is pro-life, pro-gun, and opposes illegal immigration. As a legislator, Hays has authored legislation supporting first responders and promoting early literacy by addressing class size in early grades.
