Raised on a small family farm, she lives in The Village with her family. A former State Representative for District 83, she championed legislation for Oklahomans' economic well-being and strengthened state-Native Nation partnerships. She is known for building bipartisan coalitions, including relaunching the Women's Caucus and advancing legislation for Indigenous women's safety. Her policy focus areas include criminal justice reform, economic development, public schools, and healthcare access. Currently an executive consultant and associate professor, Branham brings extensive experience in public policy and transformational equity to her campaign for House District 85.

A proud Oklahoman since the age of four, he grew up in Edmond. Banks began his career as a hairstylist in The Village in 2007, a pursuit that evolved into a passion for connecting with people. Through conversations with clients, he gained a deep understanding of issues affecting everyday Oklahomans, such as rising costs, healthcare, education, and the need for stronger communities. He holds an associate degree from Oklahoma City Community College and master barber and cosmetology instructor licenses. Banks is committed to building a better Oklahoma.
