  Nikki Nice, a Democratic member of the Oklahoma State Senate for District 48, assumed office in November 2024 after winning a special primary election. She secured re-election outright for the 2026 term as both primary and general elections were canceled. A fourth-generation Oklahoman, Nice holds a bachelor’s degree from Langston University and a master’s from the University of Oklahoma. Her career includes experience as a radio and television personality. Prior to the Senate, she served on the Oklahoma City Council from 2018 to 2024.
