  Shannon S. Erickson, an educator and business owner, has proudly represented South Carolina House District 124 since 2006. With a B.A. from the University of South Carolina Beaufort, she also serves as President & CEO of Lowcountry Building Blocks, Inc. A Republican, she advocates for strong support for law enforcement, a fertile economic environment, and diverse educational options including public, private, and homeschooling. Erickson is a pro-business and pro-environment leader, committed to building consensus, grassroots involvement, and accountable government. She has chaired the House Education and Public Works Committee and the SC House Domestic Violence Reform Task Force. She is seeking re-election to continue her work in the General Assembly.
