An attorney and graduate of Duke and Notre Dame Law, he also practices law for startups and serves on the Auburn Valley YMCA board. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served ten years as a nuclear reactor operator, including three deployments. He holds a Master's in Public Administration and a BA in Political Science. Post-military, he lobbied for Student Veterans of America and engaged in community organizing and mutual aid in Auburn.
