  Amy Walen has served in the Washington House of Representatives since 2019. Before joining the legislature, she was the Mayor of Kirkland from 2014 to 2019 and served on the Kirkland City Council starting in 2009. Walen has a background in law and business, having graduated from the University of Queensland Law School in Australia and later serving as Chief Financial Officer for a large auto dealership she co-owned with her husband. She is also a breast cancer survivor.
