  Deb Krishnadasan is a lifelong Washingtonian who was appointed to the State Senate in December 2024. She grew up in a union household on a farm in Puyallup and was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University. Her career includes roles in communications and human resources for nonprofits like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and corporations like Microsoft.
