Gina Swoboda is a Republican candidate for Arizona Secretary of State in the 2026 primary election. She previously served as the Chair of the Arizona Republican Party from 2024 until January 2026. Swoboda expresses a strong passion for elections, having worked in the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office under both Republican Michele Reagan and Democrat Katie Hobbs. Her experience also includes roles as a local registrar, precinct captain, and statewide trainer for poll observers. She initially announced a bid for Arizona's 1st Congressional District but later filed a statement of interest for the Secretary of State race, a decision supported by an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. She may face state Rep. Alexander Kolodin in the GOP primary.
