Congressman Henry C. "Hank" Johnson, Jr. has represented Georgia’s 4th Congressional District since 2007, currently serving his tenth term in the U.S. House of Representatives. A Democrat, he is known for his work on civil rights, consumer protections, judicial transparency, accountability, and community safety. Johnson’s legislative focus includes judiciary issues and federal matters impacting metro Atlanta communities. Before his congressional career, he practiced law and held positions as an associate judge on the DeKalb County magistrate court and on the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners. He has qualified for re-election to his seat in 2026.
