Taras P. "T.P." Nykoriak is a Republican candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Michigan's 13th Congressional District. A resident of Detroit, Michigan, Nykoriak has frequently run for public office as a perennial candidate, including campaigns for Wayne County Sheriff, the Wayne County Commission, and the Detroit Board of Police Commissioners. In 2016, he was convicted in federal court for the theft of government property involving U.S. savings bonds and served time in prison.
