About
Gretchen Hollar Kirkman is an incumbent District Court Judge for North Carolina's 23rd Judicial District. She was appointed to the position in June 2022 by Governor Roy Cooper to fill a vacancy. Prior to her appointment, she was a sole practitioner at the Law Office of Gretchen Hollar Kirkman, PLLC. She has previously served as a District Court Judge for the same district and worked as an attorney at the Law Office of Sarah Stevens. Kirkman earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996 and her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2000.
