About
Tron Ross was appointed to serve as a District Court Judge in April 2025 by Governor Josh Stein. She has over 26 years of legal experience, including operating a solo general law practice for more than 16 years. Ross has also served as an Associate County Attorney for Moore County and as a DSS Attorney for the Lee County Department of Social Services. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Born and raised in Moore County, she is a graduate of Pinecrest High School.
