About
Preston Stinson is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Oklahoma's House District 96, first elected in November 2020. With a background in business, he is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary. Stinson advocates for diversifying Oklahoma's economy beyond its heavy reliance on oil and gas. His key policy positions include being unapologetically pro-life, a strong defender of Second Amendment rights, protecting children from "radical gender medical procedures," securing the border, and backing law enforcement. He also supports limiting property tax increases and disciplined government spending. He served as Assistant Republican Whip from 2022-2024.
