About
John Peterson, a Republican, is campaigning for the U.S. House to represent South Carolina's 6th Congressional District in the 2026 election. He earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Brockport. Running as a "Common Sense Conservative," his platform prioritizes being tough on crime to protect law-abiding citizens and keep violent criminals off the street. He advocates for fiscally conservative policies to cut spending, reduce inflation, and lower the national debt. Peterson also champions free and fair elections, including requiring voter ID, and aims to uncover fraud, waste, and abuse in government, alongside supporting DOGE.
