Aaron Gutierrez, a Democrat, is seeking election to the Colorado State Senate to represent District 3 in the 2026 primary election. Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, he graduated from Colorado College with a degree in International Political Economy. His career includes serving as a Public Policy Fellow in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs during the Obama Administration and working for Congressman John Salazar. A graduate of Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law, Gutierrez previously worked as a public defender in Pueblo and now co-owns Garcia Gutierrez Law Group, where he practices as an attorney. He will appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on June 30, 2026.
