Aaron Hayes

Aaron Hayes is a music teacher and parent residing in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He is running as a Democratic candidate for Idaho House of Representatives District 4B in the 2026 election. Hayes earned a bachelor's degree from Washington State University in 2005 and a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University in 2016. He is motivated to serve his community by supporting teachers, first responders, nurses, and all hard-working neighbors. His policy priorities include protecting public lands, defending civil liberties and free speech, and ensuring robust infrastructure, including access to healthcare, through balanced fiscal responsibility.
