Dr. Adam Hamawy is a reconstructive plastic surgeon, former U.S. Army combat trauma surgeon, and small business owner running for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Jersey's 12th Congressional District. The son of Egyptian immigrants, he grew up in New Jersey and served eight years in the military, including a deployment to Iraq. He later gained attention as a volunteer physician in Gaza. Dr. Hamawy now operates a medical practice in Princeton and is running to succeed Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman.
