Adam Peters

Adam Peters is a community organizer, nonprofit leader, and arts adviser running for Iowa House District 97 in the 2026 Primary Election. A graduate of Davenport Community School District, he previously served as an organizer for Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign and on the Biden/Harris 2020 Digital Team, as well as Digital Director for Admiral Mike Franken’s U.S. Senate campaign. Peters is committed to strong civil rights protections, including safeguarding marriage equality and reproductive decisions. He champions fully funded public education, competitive teacher pay, and opposes diverting public money to private alternatives. He also advocates for raising the minimum wage to foster family stability and keep young people in Iowa. Peters is running to be a present, rooted, and relentless representative for Iowans, focused on clean water, lowering costs for families, and building a governing majority.
