Adelita Grijalva

Adelita Grijalva is the Democratic U.S. Representative for Arizona's 7th congressional district, assuming office in November 2025 following a special election for the seat vacated by her late father, Raúl Grijalva. Born in Tucson, Arizona, she previously served on the Pima County Board of Supervisors and the Tucson Unified School District Governing Board. A University of Arizona alumna, Grijalva advocates for reining in executive power, protecting sacred tribal lands, and advancing equity.
