Aerion Andrew Abney is an incumbent Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 19 since his election in April 2022. Born in Philadelphia, Abney earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to holding public office, he worked as a social worker, a program officer with the POISE Foundation, and the Pennsylvania director of special projects for All Voting Is Local.
