Aisha Braveboy

Aisha Braveboy is an American politician and attorney serving as the State's Attorney for Prince George's County, Maryland. A member of the Democratic Party, she was first elected to this position in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. Prior to her role as State's Attorney, Braveboy represented the 25th district in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2007 to 2015. Born in Washington, D.C., she is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law. Her legal career also includes experience as an attorney for the Federal Communications Commission and work in private practice, focusing on various legal areas before dedicating her career to public service.
