Alecia Cunningham is a lifelong resident of University Place and a mother of four sons. She is the founder and CEO of Taproot Consulting and has a background in public service and nonprofit leadership. Her career includes experience as a Senior Director of Development at Summer Search. She holds an Associate's Degree in Business and Non-profit Management from Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom. Cunningham has served as the Vice Chair of the University Place Parks Commission and was a board member for Parks Tacoma. She was recognized in South Sound Business's "40 Under 40" in June 2020.
